We feature a Banquet Room that can accommodate up to 80 guests for private dining. The room features its own full-service bars and dedicated restrooms. The Banquet Room is handicap accessible, but unfortunately, the restrooms are not. Banquets generally require 20 guests minimum for buffet. Smaller groups may be accommodated, but a room charge may apply.
The Skyway East banquets can be buffet-style or “Sit Down”. Off-menu dining features a limited menu with the number of choices available dictated by the size of the group and the day of the week. A direct phone inquiry is best to discuss details. All “Sit Down” dinners include a baked potato, salad, and hot loaves of bread and butter. The price of the dinner would be the menu price. This price does not include tax, 17% Tip, beverage, appetizer, or dessert. Buffet Banquets can be tailored to your requests. Menu pricing would be dependent on the items selected. A direct phone contact for a quote would be necessary. A minimum of 20 guests is required for a buffet.
We also have two Pre-Packaged Buffets. The first option is our standard buffet. The available entrees are:
- Roast Sirloin or Beef
- Baked Chicken
- Hawaiian Ham (Sweet and Sour Sauce)
- Char-Grilled Pork Ribeye Steak Bites
- Baked Buttercrumb Alaskan Pollock
- Eggplant Parmesan
You may choose any three of the above six items for your buffet. The price of the buffet is $12.50 per person plus tax and 15% TIP. Approximate total cost, depending on the tax rate, is $15.25 per person.
Our second option is our Prime Rib buffet which consists of:
Prime Rib (Served both medium - rare and medium-well), Deep Fried Breaded Shrimp, and Baked Chicken or Hawaiian Ham.
The price of this buffet is $14.95 per person, plus tax and 15% tip. Approximate total cost, depending on tax, is $18.24 per person.
Both buffets include Baked Potatoes, Rice Pilaf, Vegetable of the day, Salad Bar, Iced Tea and Hot Beverages. Appetizers, Desserts, Soft Drinks, Milk, and Alcoholic Beverages are extra.
Chicken Cordon Bleu may be substituted for baked chicken on either buffet for a $1.30 up charge plus tax and tip.
If appetizers or desserts are desired with either of our buffets, you may pre-order them. Prices will be the menu price plus tax and tip.
We also offer an appetizer assortment for $4.50 per person, with tax and tip, the cost is $5.49 items included are:
Sauerkraut Balls, Breaded Mushrooms, Zucchini Sticks, and Onion Rings.
Cheese Balls are available for $13.95, plus tax and tip.
For either type of banquet, we would need your menu and approximate head count at least one week in advance. If you choose a buffet, we must have exact count 48 hours in advance (A guarantee). The confirmed count is the minimum number that will be billed for. However, The Skyway takes responsibility to cook 10% more than the guarantee in case you should have a few last-minute additions. In general, deposits are not required to hold the room. However, for buffet banquets requiring seperate checks, a $150.00 deposit is required at the time the room is reserved.
The room rental rate is $60.00-100.00 depending on group size.
This charge will be waived if 13 or more full dinners are purchased and the sales reach $450.00 excluding tax and tip or the group purchases at least 20 full dinners (25 in December).
